About Eileen Ponich
Eileen Ponich is a vintage jazz singer who brings warmth, elegance, and timeless glamour to the stage. Inspired by legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day, Sarah Vaughn and Rosemary Clooney, she blends vintage phrasing with a warm, contemporary storytelling style.
Equally skilled in Classical, Sacred, Pop, and Jazz, Eileen’s heart belongs to mid-century American music, the songs of Gershwin, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Irving Berlin, Johnny Mercer and more. After more than 30 years performing in the Atlanta music community, including 25 years with the Michael O’Neal Singers, she now makes her home in Savannah, GA, where she shares vintage jazz and Songbook favorites through concerts, cabaret performances, and special events. She is also a proud graduate of Georgia Southern University Music Industry degree program.
Guided by her motto, “What would life be without making music?”Eileen is dedicated to keeping this beloved repertoire alive for future generations.
